Lorac Limited Edition Solid Gold & Platinum Status Eye Shadow Palettes Review & Swatches

Hi Luvs! I really wanted to share with you this review and swatch video on 2 new limited edition palettes from Lorac. I purchased these from ULTA.com and are ULTA exclusives. I was blown with not only the price, but also the amazing quality!

Solid Gold Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette:

If your a fan of neutrals and shimmer, this is a palette for you! It contains 5 beautiful warm toned eye shadows, in a gold compact case. This is a perfect on the go palette.

The first 3 shadows on the left have finely milled shimmer, where as the dark brown and black, have larger specks of shimmer.

The palette includes a shimmery off white, cream and a golden/copper.
The only color which did not have as much color pay off as the rest, was the golden/copper shadow. I had to pack on the color for better color pay off, but it didn't really bother me.

The dark brown has larger specks of copper flecks and at first glance, you would think it was a matte brown shadow.
Lastly, the black shadow has flecks of gold shimmer. This is the color which I think pulled the whole palette together because you you can take it from a day to night look.

Final Thoughts:

Lorac did not disappoint with this palette. These were easy to blend and had great pigmentation. Even though one shadow was not as pigmented as the rest, it barely even phased me and for $12, come on…you're getting high quality shadows for an amazing price!

Platinum Status Eye Shadow Palette

Now if you're a fan of shimmery pinks and purples(I'm definitely a fan!) this is a palette for you!
It contains 5 beautiful cool toned shadows in a slim white iridescent case.

The first 4 shadows contain finally milled shimmer and the black shadow contains larger specks of shimmer.

The palette includes a shimmery cream color, a beautiful baby pink, a pinky/purple shadow, a violet with a pink iridescent sheen and a black shadow with silver shimmer.All the colors in this palette were easy to blend and had excellent color payoff!

Final Thoughts:
Again, this palette did not disappoint!
Lorac did an amazing job with these two palettes. You can't go wrong with the price and the quality of the shadows is outstanding. These are such steals from Lorac and I hope you get a chance to grab these at ULTA or ULTA.com since they are limited edition.
