Limited Edition "Gilded In Gold" Color Tattoos Purchased from Bed, Bath & Beyond - $4.99 each |

The Display:
I was really surprised that the display only contained 2 of each color which will make these items even more difficult to find. Since these are "Limited Editions" I can already tell there will be a frenzy searching for them. I must say, it's a very good marketing strategy LOL If you put "Limited Edition" on a product, you know it will cause quite a stir. |

Glad to know that Maybelline heard our request for "Matte" color tattoos. The formulation of the matte shades are smooth and creamy, but not as creamy as LE summer color tattoos. These have the texture, consistency and color similarity very comparable to a higher end product such as the MAC Paint Pots. |
|
260 Matte Brown
This is a beautiful mocha brown shade in the jar and the color pay off is excellent! When swatched, you can see the under tones of grey and mauve. It glides on smoothly and is an excellent color for the fall season. |
|
255 Just Beige
Just Beige is a smooth, yellow toned shade. The consistency again, is very smooth and reminds me of a MAC paint pot in the color "Soft Ochre". In my opinion, the colors are very similar. |
|
250 Nude Pink
This is a warm toned pink shade. Kudos again on the creamy texture and pigmentation. It is also very compsirable to a MAC Paint Pot in the shade "Painterly". It's not an exact dupe, but again, very similar. |
|
Swatched on the top right is MAC's "Painterly" paint pot. It is more of a cooler toned pink where as "Nude Pink" is a warmer toned pink. |

So, what's your verdict on the New Gilded In Gold Limited Edition Color Tattoos? Do you think they are worth buying?
I think these are worth every penny and are excellent alternatives for higher end products. Try to get your hands on these color tattoos since it seems like the quantities are going to be limited. I don't think you will be disappointed and hopefully, Maybelline will make these colors part of their regular line.
